Op Ed Piece: Why Rand Paul Makes Sense

Kentucky Senate Candidate, Dr. Rand Paul (R)

By: Jay

Rand Paul, as many are aware, has become somewhat of a media star of late, with the majority of the mainstream attention focused on anything but the issues. We have heard ad nauseam about “Aqua Buddha,” that Dr. Paul kidnapped women in college, forcing them to smoke pot, he is a “racist,” that he is for drugging children and forcing “everyone” to pay a $2000 dollar Medicare deductible. This is all you will hear from the mainstream media, and guess what—none of it is true.

The “anonymous source” for the Aqua Buddha fiasco has retracted her story, but the mainstream outlets have not reported this. In fact, there was no kidnapping, and the “secret society” is a joke. When Dr. Paul was on Rachel Maddow’s show, what he responded “yes” to was whether he could hear the audio feed, not “yes” to repealing all civil rights laws. But that is not how the media has spun the incident—it’s far juicier to say he wants to appeal all civil rights.

Ironically, it is not Dr. Paul who wants to see all children “drugged,” as his opponent Jack Conway has implied, but rather Dr. Paul supports decriminalization of drugs solely for the purpose of decreasing out massive prison population. The U.S. has the largest prison population in the world, and most are there for non-violent offenses. To reduce the massive prison complex would cut taxes, as well as create new jobs (since inmates are cheap labor). In fact, as has just recently surfaced, according to the Louisville Courier Journal’s article of October 23rd “LMPD Probes Detectives Who Tipped Off Prosecutor Under Investigation,” it is now Jack Conway and his brother who are embroiled in a possible absconding of a drug investigation. So it appears that in terms of drugs, Conway has more to explain that Rand. In regards to the Medicare, what Rand actually said was that seniors over a certain age might have to pay a deductible if we want to continue the system, since it is not working.

Now that we have cleared away the smoke and mirrors of the mainstream liberal establishment, it’s crucial to consider that students might be tempted to think Dr. Paul is just a mainline neo-conservative. This is also not true. Dr. Paul, like his extremely popular father, Dr. Ron Paul, has as his main agenda balancing the budget and the private Federal Reserve banking system.  The Federal Reserve is a private institution that prints fiat money and controls our monetary system, as well as our government.

Tyler Clay Collins’ Saul Alinsky Style Antics at Fancy Farm

In a desperate attempt to try to smear Rand Paul, the Conway campaign has denied any affiliation with the Rules For Radical’s playbook style operations.  Arriving in blustering heat, I approached the Rand tent to find a tin foil hat-wearing effeminate character slurring his speech and rambling on about “this land your Rand, this land is my Rand…”  Immediately recognizing this character as a leftist Democratic operative, I loosened my tie and prepare for a feast of debate (a delicacy which my palate relishes).  I asked him his name and who he worked for, and got only “Tyler” and more gibberish.

Tyler had tied a Dora the Explorer doll down on his sign as an enticement to race-bait. I asked what his sign meant, and he responded only with more incoherent songs and murmurings about his local lodge. I told him he worked for the Democrats and he paused a bit, and rambled on about something or other. Then, as a crowd drew, we were approached by two more camera men, one from the Hillbilly Report, another an “independent filmmaker.”  However, the Hillbilly Reporter lost his debate, and has apparently decided not to post our confrontation.

This led to another debate (although not much more sophisticated). The Hillbilly Report utilized the same Saul Alinksy-style tactics as Collins, particularly avoiding all issues and responding with verbal playback, wherein you incite and ridicule your opponent by stating every phrase of your opponent, but twisting it to say the opposite. Well-known communist community organizer Saul Alinksy describes this method in his infamous Rules For Radicals. He writes:

13. Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.  In conflict tactics there are certain rules that [should be regarded] as universalities. One is that the opposition must be singled out as the target and ‘frozen.’…

“…any target can always say, ‘Why do you center on me when there are others to blame as well?’ When your ‘freeze the target,’ you disregard these [rational but distracting] arguments…. Then, as you zero in and freeze your target and carry out your attack, all the ‘others’ come out of the woodwork very soon. They become visible by their support of the target…’

Unruly Radical Following 'Rules for Radicals'

“One acts decisively only in the conviction that all the angels are on one side and all the devils on the other.” pgs.127-134

“The job then is getting the people to move, to act, to participate; in short, to develop and harness the necessary power to effectively conflict with the prevailing patterns and change them. When those prominent in the status quo turn and label you an ‘agitator’ they are completely correct, for that is, in one word.” pg. 117

Not only does this demonstrate the deceptive, fraud tactics of the so-called social democrats, it shows they are communists at heart, using the same playbook so influential on Barack Obama. The dualistic/dialectical process is seen as the necessary means to bring order out of chaos, and what we see is that the subversives have not died out, they have simply changed their clothing; from the chairman Mao style military garb, to the scarf and latte green garb.

As an aside: Mr. Alinksy famously dedicated his book to Satan – the first rebel.

as well, apparently. Well, at least the Democratic operatives who parade with the most inane and over-the-top smear tactics are.  In one of the most important and closely watched races in the country, my friends and I attended the famous Fancy Farm debate and ousted this Democratic operative:

Turns out, this character is named Tyler Clay Collins, and is an active Kentucky Democrat. Here he is pictured at a Democratic event, as well as at his local Masonic Lodge:

Too bad people cannot deal openly and honestly with real issues and argumentation. Actually, it’s a good thing: these kinds of antics actually show them for what they are: liars. Jack Conway and company will have to do better. Furthermore, this confirms what tea party goers have claimed elsewhere, as this Fox article reports.

Tyler has removed his facebook profile, but the captured screenshots are here:
