in your discussion about reaching spiritual realms through various mediums, the reason why some seam like BS and some are seen clearly without doubt, is the value of the “clean” spirit in question and the level of demonic possession the “witch or wannabe” is supporting who is conducting or attempting the connection/possession. If you are a highly valued target, I believe based on future accomplishments (known or unknown) (think also timing), will impact the demonic spirit effort and or Spirit of Truth defense, to battle for the living host’s mind/spirit. I believe Satan and God have established rules of engagement for the ownership of man’s spirit.
