#silenceofthelambs #hanniballecter #manhunter I give my take on this gruesome, symbolism-packed film. I cover the theory the whole thing is something other than what most think and link it to the other works from Dace McGowan and Douglas Valentine on the subject. Trauma based MK ultra is at work? Tell me what you think below!

Cool SOTL analysis. I think you are spot on concerning the whole SK phenomenon of the 90’s. Hopkins made the SK into a kind of hero. It paved the way for DEXTER and the like. Buffalo Bill comes from middle America (Ohio) which I think is telling. One of the victims is discovered in West VA. It was kind of stereotyping the Southern United States as kind of backward and poor. You could do more on this topic by covering the other Thomas Harris based movies. Good Job!
Jay,
Trauma based mind control seems an even bigger issue in the Hannibal TV series. Have you seen?
Signed up for membership last week.
Watching it now – thanks !
