Since most fatalities from Covid-19 are in the older age groups and also among people with existing illnesses, it makes no epidemiological sense isolating the entire population, including all the young and healthy, and thereby preventing a build up of community immunity; unless it is either your intention to prevent a build up of community immunity or you are an idiot. Or you want to impose vaccination.
