Thank you for leading me to the Orthodox faith Jay! My family and I recently became Catachumen in our local church. I love the church and the people. All the laity of the church I have spoken to are against the covid tyranny and see the fake pandemic for what it is. However unfortunately the Bishop and the Priest have bought into it hook line and sinker. Whatever the government tells them to do, they do it no questions asked, no matter how absurd it is. Masks are mandatory, social distancing, cant properly venerate the icons, and the government has put a limit on church gathering of only 15 people. So the church is literally turning away the congregation every week, with the exception of those lucky enough to go. There are no other options of churches for orthodox Christians anywhere even remotely close. My family and I continue to go to church whenever we are lucky enough to go, even though we do not agree with the church’s subservience to the tyrannical governments war on churches. Just thought I’d share my story with you. I cant tell you enough how grateful I am to you for opening my eyes to Orthodoxy.
