Tonight we return to discuss the madness of Terence McKenna as we investigate a work of the psychonauts – The Food of the Gods! As part of our globalization books series, I decided it was necessary to cover a psychonaut, since we have covered all the circles around these nuts – but not an actual nut. As we will see, Terence’s book demonstrates a radical subversion of nature itself under the guise of enlightenment. LIVE at 6PM EST

In this book McKenna tells a huge lie, he says alchemy texts don’t have any references to cannabis. Very strange, because Green Lion, Azoth, Philosopher’s Stone, all these signify cannabis.
Please heed Jay’s warning about the psychonauts. LSD was released as a weapon to f***up the generation objecting to the continuation of the Vietnam war. I know two people who took LSD and went permanently insane. I don’t see how any of the hallucinogens can be at all healthy, and all are related chemically. Even Huxley said on one occasion that he regretted publishing The Doors of Perception, since he felt that it had influenced and damaged young people. How Mr McKenna can claim that hallucinogens are of evolutionary value is beyond comprehension, since there can be no evidence to that effect whatever. Of course now recreational cannabis is being commercialized. We must consider that it may not simply be a matter of financial opportunism, but also an agenda to ensure that as many people as possible are doped out of their brains and pliable.
Jay, that’s hilarious, “so based bro” lol…Box of wine boomers haha….I remember Terence Trent Derby…Anyway don’t let the dum dums get you down, they think deep is the depth of a swimming pool. Keep up your sense of humour…Good talk on Terence McKenna, I’m looking forward to the 2nd half.. I appreciate all your talks, they are so well researched. x
