  1. The biggest “evil” question I have is regarding free will. You have touched on this problem in one of your older articles here:
    https://jaysanalysis.com/2010/05/01/why-the-eastern-view-of-the-eschaton-makes-more-sense-pt-1/

The question is regarding the relation of free will and nature/essence. If Adam was created with untarnished human nature, and free will is a product of human nature, then how is it that Adam sinned and the fall occurred? If after the resurrection men have reconstituted nature and natural free will, then what prevents sinning from occurring again?

It seems there is an inconsistency between free will of Adam and the free will of men after the resurrection. The former is capable of choosing sin while the latter is not. Have you written anything further on this topic, Jay?

  2. It’s simple. They were deceived at the Fall. And we can still be deceived, and we can choose when we are aware of the deception. Who said we can’t choose, difficult though it may be at times?

    1. But after sin is defeated, humans will still have free will. This means that they will only be free to choose good. So then there is an inconsistency between the free will of Adam and the free will after sin is eliminated, and the question of evil becomes why was Adam, who was created good, capable of sinning in the first place?
