It is a frequently misunderstood notion that “modern” and “abstract” art was an organic development that arose from grassroots battles against “oppression” and the “folk art” of the lower classes. In fact, ugly, degenerate art arose from Soviet and communist circles as a means to attack aesthetic beauty. I often remark that “Bauhaus” architecture is communist to the surprise of listeners, but the facts are, “modern art” is almost wholly a communist and Soviet invention of weaponized culture.

To understand this, one must look at the Frankfurt School of Marxism, tasked primarily with social engineering and destroying culture. Weaponized culture was a key tool for destroying the West’s social values and social structure. This is also true of the modern transformations of “art” into its own internal nihilist critique of meaning itself, with hipsterism. Hipsterism could accurately be called the full blossoming of Theodore Adorno’s critical theory, particularly in terms of music. Adorno writes:

What radical music perceives is the untransfigured suffering of man…. The seismographic registration of traumatic shock becomes, at the same time, the technical structural law of music. It forbids continuity and development. Musical language is polarized according to its extreme; towards gestures of shock resembling bodily convulsions on the one hand, and on the other towards a crystalline standstill of a human being whom anxiety causes to freeze in her tracks…. Modern music sees absolute oblivion as its goal. It is the surviving message of despair from the shipwrecked.”

So modern music is geared towards the breakdown of order, beauty, form and meaning, waging a war on all the elements with the intent of disorienting man’s psyche and breaking down his worldview.  In fact Adorno describes it as an attempt at actually causing mania: Read more of this post

Some analysts have noted that the Cold War is, on an important level, still raging.  The continued espionage between China, Russia and the U.S. represents a real strategic threat that will mean an eventual confrontation between the superpowers.  It is worth noting that the Western media never rarely focuses on threats from either China or Russia, aside from sensationalistic stories that circulated about Anna Chapman.  However, Bloomberg did recently run a story that shows there are still plenty of good people in the FBI and CIA.  The article states:

“Hearkening back to Cold War anxieties, growing signs of spying on U.S. universities are alarming national security officials. As schools become more global in their locations and student populations, their culture of openness and international collaboration makes them increasingly vulnerable to theft of research conducted for the government and industry.”

The idiocy here is that the very establishment that publishes Department of Defense analysis papers on strategic risk trends is the same establishment that pushes all the very policies that lead to a mass influx of foreign intelligence recruits.  It may seem odd to some that youth would be the target of intelligence recruitment or foreign spying, but the truth is the very opposite.  The youth were recruited by both Hitler and Stalin.  Youth is the prime time of life, when arrogance is at its highest and the tempting lure of becoming a “spy” is irresistible to naive young minds.

The Wall Street Journal reports of the Chapman spy ring: “A Russian spy ring busted in the U.S. two years ago planned to recruit members’ children to become agents, and one had already agreed to his parents’ request, according to current and former U.S. officials….Children born or reared in America were potentially more valuable espionage assets than their parents because when they grew up they would be more likely to
pass a U.S. government background check.”  As a side note, remember that Salt came out around the time of the Anna Chapman event, and included Jolie inviting Chapman to attend the Moscow premier of the film.

This is standard fare and nothing new, historically.  Grevork Andreyevich Vartanyan was a famed spy for Russia and was recruited by the Stalinist regime at an early age.  The DailyMail writes: ”The legendary Russian-born spy was the son of  an Iranian factory owner of Armenian origin. His father took the family back to  Iran in the 1930s as part of a mission decreed by Stalin.  He enlisted his son who was working  undercover by the age of 16.”

The standard, modern authoritarian leftists and republiconmunists live in a delusional fantasy world where none of this history happened.  The real world is full of espionage, conspiracy and theft of important secrets, despite the very modern idea that “conspiracy” is a fringe circle with little actual evidence to back it up.  Particularly during the Clinton era, the Anglo-American powers armed and built up the North Korean arsenal through its aid to China.  Newsmax reported in 2003:

Carter met with North Korean leader Kim Jong-il in Pyongyang and returned to America waving a piece of paper and declaring peace in our time. Kim, according to Carter, had agreed to stop his nuclear weapons development.  The Clinton appeasement program for North Korea included hundreds of millions of dollars in aid, food, oil and even a nuclear reactor. However, the agreement was flawed and lacked even the most informal means of verification.  In return, Kim elected to starve his people while using the American aid to build uranium bombs. For a long time I’ve held back on my actual thoughts on things, but nowadays I could care less. The actual operation of the entire society has become so absurd, backward, and irrational that it is now comical. For those aware, it is quite evident there is a long term plan to re-engineer and reorganize the western world in particular. The modern world is under the delusion that it has been freed from the prison of “superstition” and “dogma”: Altar and throne have been overthrown and now the “New Man” can arise from the ash heap of millennia of “dark ages” and oppression. Modernity has given us medicine and personal computers, right? Indeed, so onwards towards the great utopia! But is this so?  Why do the day-to-day lives of those of use in modernity seem like everything but the great utopia?  The previous millennia has seen a multitude of millenialist demagogues hellbent on establishing the “Great Society,” yet the he awakening public is becoming aware of the sense that modern utopia is really another form of enslavement, as even Zbigniew Brzezinski has noted on multiple occasions.

But what if the uprising of the masses is not really a good thing? Mass uprisings bring forth the reordering of society under a new hierarchy: not the elimination of hierarchy. Marshalling of the masses for political means has ever been the tool of petty tyrants, demagogues and gainsayers, as well as powerful larger interests. To understand the gigantic farce of the modern world’s beliefs about itself, it is to the ancient world that we must turn. This is a point you will almost never hear mentioned, so grab your pen and paper and get ready for notes. Following upon the French Revolution, most of the western world supposedly rejected monarchy and religion in favor of Enlightenment Republicanism. Obviously this doesn’t mean Sarah Palin and George Bush. By “republicanism” is meant the idea of a republic, and the idea of a republic cannot be divorced from Plato, and an analysis of the Republic should be given, but before that, the stream (or sewer) of millennial sects and movements must be explained.

Prior to the French Revolutionary Jacobins and so-called “illuminists,” came the medieval heretical sects of the Bogomils and Cathari that represented the most significant challenges to papal power. While never an organized front, the sectarians were able to wrest various sections of Europe from Roman primacy, while the compliment in the East could be seen as Islam, representing similarly a gnostic challenge to the Imperial Orthodoxy of Byzantium (such is the origin of Bogomilism, which birthed the western gnostic movements).

Also concurrent with these movements were the Catholic orders that had similar trends, like the Franciscans and pseduo-millennialists like Joachim of Fiore. The Joachimites and some Franciscans foresaw an era of mass pouring out of “the Spirit,” ushering in a “golden age” of humanity living righteously. In fact, Benedict XVI has even written concerning these connections in Joachim as follows:

“Ratzinger dug deep in his research. And he discovered that in Bonaventure, there is a strong connection with the vision of Joachim of Fiore, the Franciscan who had prophesied the imminent advent of a third age after those of the Father and the Son, an age of the Spirit, with a renewed and entirely “spiritual” Church, poor, reconciled with Greeks and Jews, in a world restored to peace.”

I think there is a clear conduit from this to modern revolutionary movements. The Thomas Muntzer rebellion should also be mentioned as important currents of modern socialism, inasmuch as Muntzer attempted to practice perfect and total communism. It is also important that these centers of rebellion were France, Germania and Hungary: future centers of radical communism and “illuminism.” Renaissance humanism and the Reformation gave birth to the revolutionary movements of Illuminism and socialism, yet there are two crucial factors seldom mentioned in treatments of this subject that undergird all these trends: Plato and millennialism. In recent months we’ve seen the international banking establishment make moves to hedge their bets against the smaller economies, with the intent of wiping up the last vestiges of so-called “sovereignty,” aiming at an eventual world basket currency, the SDR, and the patterned central baking model of a planned economy one sees in most of the world, replete with fiat currency and printing.  Some nations, like China and Russia, would like to hedge their bets against the Anglo establishment by obtaining enough gold to perhaps have a rival to the secretly stashed gold the Anglo establishment likes.  In fact, Alan Greenspan spoke to the CFR in 2010 about this very truth concerning the permanent validity of gold:

“I’m increasingly of the opinion that what is happening here is that there is a connection that is increasingly credible between the issue of the amount of government stimulus — and more, very explicitly, the size of the current deficit that exists, not over the long run, but just concurrently — and, indeed, I’d say between that and the level of capital investment in this country.”

And,

“Gold for reasons we don’t fully understand is still the ultimate means of payment.  And five monies have no place to go because five — exchange rates of five currencies are a zero sum game.  So if you begin to get an undermining of five currency values, you get the whole — the whole structure go down.  But the relationship between the dollar and the euro can stable, and the Yen and the Swiss franc can stabilize.

But they could all go down simultaneously.  And the question is relative to what?  And I think that what we are seeing is this extraordinary rise in the price of gold.

Because gold — I’ve been trying to understand why gold has the fascination it has for generations.  And I’ve come to the conclusion since — for example, in 1944, Germany could not import anything except with gold.  And when we landed in North Africa during World War II, in order to bribe the various potentates around, we needed — only gold would do it.

In other words, it’s the only means of payment which is accepted without endorsing it.  The question is why human beings are so attracted to that, I’ve struggled with for years.  I don’t understand it.  I’ve now accepted the fact that we do.  (Laughter.)  And once we — once you do that, then the question is, it’s the ultimate means of payment.  And it is a signal that there is a problem with respect to currency markets globally.  I don’t think it’s a serious problem unless you short gold.  But it strikes me that it’s the canary in the coal mine to keep an eye on.” Read more of this post

Soviet Cold War Subversion, Illuminism and Psy Ops

Ours is an era of integration, unification and conglomeration.  Arising from that trend came the Cold War: a fascinating phenomenon of two superpowers that supposedly waged a planetary battle of western “freedom” versus eastern “communism” for control of the world.  The reality is that this battle was both engineered and real.  Insofar as Mao was concerned, we know David Rockefeller praised Mao’s “revolution” in his famous 1979 editorial.  Upon visiting China, Rockefeller mentions Deng Xiaoping’s “capitalist” reforms, which led to the modern third way experience in China today.  Rockefeller also mentions this at length in his autobiography, Memoirs.

In this way, a top western elite provides a great example of how, at times, the Cold War was furthered and aided by western finance.  One can see this as well in examples of western aid to build up Soviet power under Roosevelt, an obvious communist.  Under FDR, countless Soviet and communist agents of change and outright spies were allowed to enter the U.S.  Truman and McCarthy attempted to reverse this trend by taking action to discover the Soviet spies allegedly existing at all levels of western power. Recent release of Soviet archives shows these allegations to be correct: there were hundreds of Soviet spies at all levels of government, as the Philby affair shows for the United Kingdom.

This trend continued into the 1980s, with the Cold War purportedly reviving under Reagan and the attempt to stop the “evil empire” and Gorbachev from destroying the last bastion of freedom.  Kruschev had previously threatened at the United Nations that he would infiltrate and destroy the West from within, and the Cold War continued supposedly until the fall of the wall. Pope John Paul II also took credit with Reagan in this facade of ending the battle, with perestroika, an openness to the West, as the sign of victory.  During this time, important Central Intelligence and MI6 analysts were saying otherwise.

Based on the revelations of defectors like Masterspy Oleg Penkovsky, Anatoliy Golitsyn, and Soviet psychological warfare expert, Yuri Bezmenov, western intelligence agents like Maurice Oldfield and James Jesus Angleton thought otherwise:  it looked as if the long-term Soviet strategy was precisely one of a feigned defenselessness.  What if communist subversion meant the incremental, gradual plan of decades-long infiltration, subversion, and psychological warfare, that was meant to take down the West through covert means, as opposed to nuclear means?  What if the Soviet plan had not ended with the fall of some wall in Germany?

There is plenty of evidence to back up this conclusion.  This does not mean, however, that certain Western elites never aided communism, nor that the Cold War was all a facade. While at the top of the pyramid the elites are international (as can be seen from Rockefeller’s Memoirs), the government classes of both East and West waged a real war.  The reality is the communists/Soviets won World War II, and from thenceforth have won the culture war.  Western elites have retained their capitalist beliefs in theory, yet the present globo-capital corporatocracy is much closer to a fascist/socialist internationalism of the left than any older model of the free market. We in modernity swim in a sea of lies, facades, fronts, and scams that hourly bombard us with continual psychological manipulation and warfare intent on selling something.  In every area of our existence, an engineered “scientific” trap has been laid to ensnare the unwary.  Most humans are unaware of history and civilizations, and thus will go on to their early graves not understanding the two worlds that have been erected around them.  This has historically been the case, as most of the human race lived a nasty, brutish and short agrarian existence.  Lifespans have increased in modernity and this is often hailed as some great advancement, yet the unfortunate dark truth is that these ten or twenty years added to existence are a couple decades divvied out to serve the slave system and have your wealth, energy and savings extracted. 

 

So while you think you have been afforded all manner of modern luxuries, amenities and dainties, the reality is that you are being enslaved and killed.  The reason for this is that some intelligent, powerful people have determined that you are scum.  It is precisely because the masses do not care about objective reality that they are given a false reality – that other world I spoke of above.  The false reality is one in which all the goods or the real world are transposed and lain as a trap.  Thus whether it be marriage, family, gender, food, education, government, society, economics, life, prosperity, religion, mass media, the environment or technology, each of these facets of modern life have been engineered and weaponized for the purpose of the orderly, incremental destruction of the masses.  Perhaps at this point you may think I am some Marxist or commie, blaming all of the above on “capitalism.”  On the contrary, the truth is quite otherwise.  In fact, the truth is by far much wilder and darker than some ridiculous irrational philosophy like Marxism. 

 

These two worlds operate simultaneously, and intertwine within one another, yet the masses of billions of people are primarily members of the first world – the facade world.  While this may sound like Platonism, and while there is a sense in which Platonism is a decent analogy (the allegory of the cave), Platonism as an esoteric philosophy is not entirely correct, being afflicted with several fundamental philosophical problems.  However, as an analogy for the land of shadows and phantasms that keep most people chained, it is correct.  The reason for this is that both good and evil have a hierarchy of graded powers which control and rule certain aspects of the world.  For the purposes of this article, I want to constrain my analysis to the human level.

There has always been a close relationship between secret societies and covert affairs.  Both are concerned with secret information, and both form societies of those “in the know.”  These relations are ancient, as the history of state affairs and the cultus of the polis often intersected.   Nieztsche wrote about the ascendancy of the cunning priestly power over the barbaric power of the warrior class, which then gave rise to what we call “morals.”  While that itself a unique form of conspiracy theory, what we call “conspiracy theory” is really just espionage or deep politics.  As long as there will be been court intrigues, the world’s second oldest profession will continue, and thus conspiracies will continue.

Traversing the modern geo-political sphere, one becomes aware of the conspiratorial toponymy very quickly.  I have often observed these deeper truths somewhat between the lines in standard geo-political works, yet clearly present nonetheless.  A presistent example of this kind of “between the lines” deeper truths and “buzzwords” can be found in the patterns that emerge in studies on espionage.  For example, mainstream researcher A of covert affairs will often refer to terrorists X being tracked by western intelligence prior to Y terror event.  Y event occurs, and other resaercher B will type up exposes of other details of the events that researcher A failed to mention.  Combining these two works with the mainline news analysis will then shed tremendous light on X event.    Yet it seems many within the system itself tasked with the job of analysis and monitoring of said events, don’t even do this, which I presume is a result of compartmentalization.  We will see an example of this below.

When analyzing Russia, for example, a host of positions arise, from the Neo-cons who feel Russia is a great danger together with the older cold warrior analysts who argue the communists simply went underground (and perestroika was a deception), to the more open approach of a “multi-polar” world and globalism.  The neo-cons, of course, have their own particular version of globalism, but the recent Obama victory could signal the ascendancy of the more internationally-minded leftists/socialists, exemplified in the European Union-style socialism that is now being implemented in California.  Having once lived in California years ago, in the U.S. it very evident that California is a test tube preparation for the rest of the country.

The multiculturalism and corporate-run “green” environmental tyranny are to be expanded, as Obama promises “carbon taxes” levied on the already overtaxed populace intent on completing the process of deindustrialization (the lesser Great Bear – California!).   This process is an extension of the older eugenics programs, which eventually allied with Socialism and communism.  Fascism’s racial population control has morphed into a top-down socialist/Fascist model where the Western elites have the upper hand, having installed the same agenda worldwide.  The talking heads on TV blab all day about “government spending” and “terror attacks” which all pale in comparison to the overall 25-50 year globalist goals.  The longterm goals are not centered around “free market capitalism”or “American Imperialism”  (like leftists foolishly think), but on global governance. Phoenix From the Ashes: Imperial Mythos and Systemic Collapse

When readers and friends hear the claim “total systemic collapse,” they often refer to such claims as a “conspiracy theory,” and something  impossible to project or predict.  Those of us who predict such negative outcomes for the present system are castigated as myopic in our views, seeing “everything as a conspiracy.”  Of course, it doesn’t matter how many times we on the other side are correct, the general public (whose memory of current events is literally amnesic) insists on not paying to attention to the past, or even recent scandals.  And they never will.

So, it doesn’t matter that “conspiracy theorists” (so-called) were right about the technocratic banking takeover, poisoned food and water, bailouts at taxpayers expense, social engineering and feminism, corporate and public welfare, corporate fascism, government-sponsored drug and gun running, election fraud, both parties being bought and paid for, false flag terror events, the phony green movement, balkanization, and countless other bombshell stories the alternative media has broken doesn’t phase those on the other side one bit.   Those in the know can be right a hundred times over, and the public will still choose to believe the system, after the system has openly lied to them a hundred times.

And so the reason the present system is unsustainable and will collapse is due to the fact that the system itself wants systemic collapse.  To the common man, that seems absurd.  The common man, using “common man common sense” assumes that those at the top think like he does.  Do they not love their families like he?  Do they not seek the benefit of their neighbor and the state like he?  Do they not seek the prosperity of the nation?  Why, anything else would be nonsensical!  The great folly of this line of thinking is precisely why said man is the common man-the vulgar man.  The old classical notion of the vulgar man was what was uneducated, lower class and common.  The common man  therefore has no knowledge of how the world actually functions.  He sees the world through the simplicity fo his parochial village consciousness.  This was the older notion of the common, vulgar man in the class system.

Supposedly following the Enlightenment and revolutions, the class differences were to be restructured with “equality” replacing the “unfair” caste systems of the medieval world.  In reality, as anyone with any modicum of sense knows, modernity simply replaced the older elites with a new class of elites.   The transition was thus from the nobility to the merchant class.  The economics of mercantilism and capitalism rose to the fore, displacing the traditionalism of the ancient and medieval world.  As Michel Foucault correctly points out, the “medieval shepherds” of the church morphed into vestments of white lab coats, where a new “scientific dictatorship” so-called displaced the old hereditary elite.   In actual fact, the “scientific dictatorship” itself is not an objective, neutral power subject to the rule of reason, but itself the scientific dictatorship subject to the money power.

From the East India Company to the Rockefeller Foundation, the West is not run by reason and science, but the money power, as Spengler noted.  And what Spengler was so brilliant in predicting was the life-cycle of these systems’ patterns of imperial powers based on the analysis of past civilizations.  Spengler therefore becomes an important focus for worldview and systems analysis.  If humans operate the same over time, then the modus operandi of past empires can be a model for the stages of future empires.  The present zeitgeist is one dominated by the money power and merchant class. I wrote in my last post about the background to the coming collapse, including several links to espionage, false flags and economic issues.  This article will pick up with the economics issues.  As mentioned, the plan for collapse arises out the British model of divide and conquer,  concomitant with economic warfare.  One can in fact see a connection between the “7 nations”/Middle Eastern attack plan of the Pentagon and the World Bank/IMF attack on the Eurozone, which formerly occurred in Russia in the 90s under the Yeltsin administration.  As many writers have noted, the Yeltsin era was one of mafiaocracy, where bankers and mafiosos looted the economy of Russia, leading to currency devaluation and rapid inflation, while the megabanks funnelled the real wealth offshore.

While I am not advocating a Pro-Russian stance, this is an objectively true analysis (the only kind of relevant analysis).  One then sees that same two-pronged attack in terms of military tactics and currency warfare on the part of the Anglo-establishment, ultimately for the control of Central Asia.  Putin thus represents a contrarian mafia stance in opposition to the West, which is the reason, for example, for the western intelligence apparatchiks staging and supporting the “pussy riot” and “anti-Putin protests.”  This is quite obvious to any cognizant observer, and Alexander Dugin, Putin’s chief geo-strategist, explains this in a recent interview.

It’s crucial to recognize as well that economic warfare can be accomplished with regulation or deregulation, depending on the need of the situation at hand.  Deregulation might function in a situation where a sovereign state has a law that impedes the IMF or some international corporation’s design to privatize a nation’s resources.  Regulation might function for the Anglo-establishment in a case where lobbying can buy off regulators to pass laws that favor one corporation, while in turn levying heavy taxes and fines on a competitor, which pushes the competition out of business.  The need at hand dictates the politics of the scam.
