Is there a relation to the Venusian arts and pickup artists? What about Catholicism and Malachi Martin? –All this and more in the latest podcast installment.

Evidence that James Bond was considered normative fictions by people inhabiting the political landscape: It is alleged that President Kennedy once asked Ian Fleming for advice on how to either drive Castro from power or how to rub the Carribbean dictator out. If true, Kennedy would not have done that if he didn’t place stock in Fleming’s voice, which were primarily expressed in his fiction.
Lots of good stuff about Fleming in Riebling’s Wedge.
