The Jay Show – God’s Law or Chaos?
July 1, 2010 5 Comments
In this podcast, I discuss the choice of life and freedom through God’s Laws, or chaos and bondage through tyranny and oppression. Our culture is fast degenerating into total sludge. GMO food, public schools, liberalism, cults, and so on, all spring from rejecting God’s Laws.

I’m going to download this later today. Several questions first:
1) Is this a theonomic talk?
2) Is this a new mp3?
This is Jacob A, btw.
Is the East really weak in this area? I picked that up when reading “The river of fire”
I would say there is a tremendous weakness in Eastern thought in this regard.
You’ll often here well meaning people or people with an antinomian bend say that we Christians don’t have to follow Old Testament Law any more (or at the very least they might say we don’t have to follow certain Old Testament laws.) Obviously this is true of circumcision and certain dietary laws but beyond that how do we determine which Old Testament Laws we maintain and which were laws meant specifically for the Hebrews until to the time of the New Covenant? What is the scriptural basis for determining which practices we are absolved of and which ones we retain? Clearly we are meant to keep the Ten Commandments but are we obliged to establish a state along the lines of Old Testament Law? I know we don’t want to become “Judaizers” as some of the heretical reformers did. What are we obliged to do as Christians as far as government is concerned? BTW: I’m not asking this as some critical rhetorical question, I really am ignorant as to the answer and I want to know what laws we’re biblically required to keep. Is there a simple formula we should know?
